Our Lymphoma Care Nurses are here to support you, whether you have just found out you have lymphoma, are having treatment, finished treatment, or just think you may have lymphoma, they are here for you.Â
All of our nurses are highly experienced, having worked clinically with lymphoma patients for at least 7 years before joining our team. Each of our nurses also still works in a hospital alongside their days with Lymphoma Australia.
On this page you will find information on how our Lymphoma Nurses can support you, and who they are.

What do our Nurses Do?
Our nurses provide support to you and your carer in many ways. Some of the things you can expect from our nurses include:
Nurse Support Line – Our support line is open Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm Eastern States time. If you have any questions or concerns you can call 1800 953 081 and speak with one of our nurses. They can help answer your questions, or help you get the referrals or information you need.
Tee nurse support line is not an emergency line. If you are very unwell, have chest pains, a temperature of 38 degrees or more, or need urgent medical attention, please call 000 to get an ambulance, or have someone drive you to the nearest emergency centre.
Nurse email – If you have a concern on the weekend or out of business hours, or you prefer to communicate by email, you can email our nurses on nurse@lymphoma.org.au. One of them will get back to you as soon as possible.
Support groups – Our nurses regularly run both in-person and online support groups to help you connect with others affected by lymphoma. You can find information on our support groups by clicking here.
Patient & Carer Education – Our nurses frequently run or host patient and carer education sessions where you can learn more about your lymphoma, treatment and wellbeing during and after treatment. You can find information on upcoming education sessions by clicking here.
Moderate closed Facebook Group for patients and carers – Our closed Facebook group is a great place to meet, and share your experiences with other people affected by a lymphoma diagnosis. It is a closed group, which means only members of the group can see what is discussed. Our nurses moderate this page to make sure any information shared is correct, to quickly remove spam and to answer questions. You can join our Facebook Group – Lymphoma Down Under by clicking here. You will need to answer the membership questions to join the group.
Patient Newsletter – Several times a year our nurses write and can email you a patient newsletter. These newsletters are a great way to keep up to date, learn about upcoming events, get tips on managing side-effects and more. You can sign up for the newsletter by clicking here.
